Saint Marks at Wakulla.

I was glad we did NOT see an alligator

Osprey protecting his nest.
We visited a couple of state parks to view the wildlife. It was pretty quiet but we did see and hear a few interesting things. At the
Saint Marks Wildlife Refuge, we were greeted by a very raucous
Osprey. He made our presence well known by flying about loudly announcing our arrival. We saw his mate in the nest as well. Perhaps there were eggs or babies in the nest.
We also visited the
Bald Point State Park a couple of times as it was just down the road from our rental house. We saw an Osprey here as well and heard more birds than we saw. We also saw evidence that the rangers were watching some protected turtle eggs.
